All-over color is one shade applied from roots to ends, giving you even, rich coverage. Highlights lighten selected strands to add dimension and brightness. If you want depth and movement, highlights or balayage usually win. If you want one glossy, uniform shade or gray coverage, all-over color is the answer.
Color corrections are charged by the hour because no two corrections are the same. Fixing box dye, banding or uneven bleach can take one visit or several, depending on your hair's condition and history.
